The Morrises A-Z in AZ: November 2010

I consider this to have been Garrett's "first" halloween since he was able to dress up, walk from door to door, and say "trick or treat" most of the time. A few times he would just put his hand in the basket of candy and grab as much as he could. Garrett was a race car driver this year, "Lightning McQueen - the fastest race car driver."

Garrett has started to sing to the song "Real Gone" from the movie "Cars." For a really long time, he would make the sound "eh", which we finally learned was in the song before the harmonica solo. We also noticed he's starting to say words from the movie while playing with his cars. It's been known for awhile that he's infactuated with the movie, but he still only sees it maybe once a week at the most? Doesn't help that it's one of Daddy's favorite movies, and that Daddy gets a kick out of watching Garrett get all excited at the beginning of the movie.

Every truck is now a dump truck. He loves watching the dump trucks come by throughout the week. Liz will watch out for the dump truck, then Garrett will stand up on the back of the couch adjacent to the front window and watch it.

He's also gotten to enjoy saying goodbye to Daddy in the morning when he leaves for work. Garrett loves to stand up on the couch and wave bye bye to me as I drive away.
