Cold Stone Creamery

Some photos from our little outing last night. Garrett loves the Baby Bjorn. He's also doing so well in holding his own head up that we can face him away from my chest. He loves looking around, especially the lights on the outside of the shopping center we were walking around.

We got a little more of Garrett smiling today. Again, not the full blown smile, but it's still cute.

Garrett's 1st Baseball Game

We went to the Royals spring training game on Sunday. They were playing the Mariners. Scored 9 runs in the 7th to pull ahead of the Mariners.

Anyway, Garrett was great. Weather was incredible.

When I'm hungry, I try to eat my hand sometimes...


I finally don't have to try and eat my hand anymore...

Sedona trip

We drove up to Sedona today, hoping to visit the spot where we got married. Ended up getting hung up on a route through Prescott and got to Sedona later than we would have liked. It was very windy and very cool anyway for Garrett. We had to hurry up and take the photo of us at Bell Rock 'cause it was pretty chilly. Didn't have much time to tweak things for the "perfect" photo.

Luke Days 2009 - Airshow

Garrett was great today at the airshow. It took us more than 3 hours to go from one mile away from the base to inside the base (2 hours standing in line). So we're very tired and a little burnt despite applying plenty of sun block. Garrett was perfect. The afterburners on the F-22 didn't phase him at all. We got inside just as the F-22 was taking off...really the inspiration for us standing in line that long. Once we saw it take off and do it's thing we got something to eat, cooled off, walked around for maybe a half an hour and went home. Yeah, we were probably there for half the time it took us to get in. All the frustrations on getting in took the enjoyment of the show out of us. But at least I got to see the new F-22 fly.


Hopefully the next time we go (he'll be 2 years old) he'll be just as perfect as he was today. Next time I'll get a shot of him sitting in a fighter.

Garrett's doctor's appointment

Hello Everyone!

Today Garrett had his 1 month doctors appointment. He is now 10 pounds 12 ounces and 23 inches long. His bump on his head from birth is completely gone. Garrett had his second hepititus shot and I feed him while she gave it to him. He was a little trooper (he loves to eat). Doctor said he is very alert and she can't believe how long his arms are :)He has gained 2 pounds since birth.
He is now doing tummy time and has a very strong neck already. It's been great to watch him change everyday. Thanks to everyone for keeping up on Garretts growth.

Garrett has lots of fussies tonight. This was one of the few times he was settled down.

Garrett smiled big time today. Looked right into my eyes and gave a huge, very long grin. I tried to get him on video later doing it, but couldn't. He is getting a very big waist. It's funny. Here is some video from the other day.

Friday the 13th

I pulled in the driveway after work and Myron was there to greet me. Right next to my truck door he's rolling in the dirt like a dog. As usual, he'll meow and follow me inside, but this time I left him out. After about 30 min. he was howling wanting inside. So we picked him up, brought him in and gave him a bath right in the laundry sink. Here he is drying off.
