Schultz Creek Trail

The other day Liz bought a new backpack for Garrett and I. He sits in it just right above my head and it has storage underneath. We're wanting to take him hiking here in the Valley this fall. Not able to wait, we made a spur of the moment decision to head up to Flagstaff and hike a trail up there.

The high today in Flag was 80 degrees. Sunny. Slight breeze. Perfect weather. Garrett has become unpredictable lately with his napping, etc. We didn't think he'd want to sleep while we're on the trail, but today he seemed to want lots of sleep. We stopped once to feed him, then later on he was cranky because he wanted to fall asleep and couldn't. So I carried him back to the trailhead. He was finally able to fall asleep even while walking the trail.

It was still worth the trip even though we hardly did any hiking. The field of flowers with the San Francisco Peaks in the background was awesome!

Enjoy the photos...
